Why we’re building GloGlo
At GloGlo, we believe feeling good starts with understanding your body. For us, that journey begins with glucose.
Glucose is one of the body's most important sources of energy. It fuels movement, focus, workouts, busy days, long walks, late nights, and everything in between.
We are starting with GloGlo gummies: fast-acting glucose gummies made to be easy to carry, easy to enjoy, and easy to use when you need quick energy. Soon, we are expanding into a mobile app designed to help people better understand their glucose patterns and build healthier daily habits around energy, movement, food, and recovery.
Glucose is not just about sugar.
It is about how your body responds to movement, food, stress, sleep, and daily routines. It is about understanding the small signals your body gives you throughout the day. It is about learning what helps you feel steady, focused, and energized.
We believe glucose will become one of the most important health signals people pay attention to. Just as steps, heart rate, sleep, and recovery became part of everyday wellness, glucose has the potential to help people better understand their energy, performance, and daily balance.
But today, glucose still feels complicated, clinical, and hard to understand.
We want to make it simpler. We want to make it more human. We want to help people stay in range, not just physically, but in how they feel throughout the day.
Why gummies?
Our co-founders, Michael and Marie, love staying active. Between running, training, building companies, and living busy lives, they realized the products available for quick glucose support sucked.
Many were chalky. Some felt too medical. Others were made with ingredients that did not feel clean or joyful.
We wanted something that worked quickly but felt like a modern consumer product. Something you want to bring on a run, take before or during a workout, or just keep in your bag.
They are made with fast-acting glucose, designed for quick energy.
For Michael, this is also personal. He has lived with Type 1 diabetes for 17 years and has spent almost all of that time thinking about glucose, energy, lows, exercise, and daily life.
Long before GloGlo, he created Glucool, one of the early diabetes health apps. That experience shaped how we think about product design: useful products should work well, but they should also feel human, simple, and easy to use in real life.
Who we are
We are second-time founders who moved to the United States from France (we miss the croissants!) to have a big impact.
Our team brings together experience in AI, nutrition, community, product design, and consumer health, with backgrounds from Cambridge, UC Berkeley, and EPFL, and recognition including Forbes 30 Under 30.
Before GloGlo, we built in AI and consumer technology. Michael previously built an AI company that was acquired by Sonos.
We are backed by Y Combinator, General Catalyst, and the founders of Dropbox and Slack.
We are engineers, builders, runners, and people who care deeply about making health products feel more modern, useful, and joyful.
And of course, GloGlo would not be complete without Riva.
Riva is our black Labrador, our mascot, and a very real part of the GloGlo team. She came with us from France and now spends her days at our office house in San Francisco, where you might meet her if you visit us. Riva is also a diabetic alert dog, trained to help detect low glucose moments.

GloGlo is built by real people, shaped by lived experience, community feedback, product testing, taste, care, and a deep belief that the products in this space should feel better than what exists today.
Where we are going

GloGlo is here to build a new kind of glucose company.
One that starts with simple products people love.
One that uses technology to make health easier to understand.
One that makes glucose feel less clinical and more connected to everyday life.
One that helps people feel energized, steady, and supported.
We are still at the beginning, but our mission is clear: to help people understand their glucose, support their energy, and stay in range.
And over time, we will build a full ecosystem of products designed to help people feel better every day. We are just getting started.
